The License Class Tests
The Technician Class operator license authorizes operating an amateur station that may transmit on channels in any of 17 specific frequency bands above 50 MHz with up to 1,500 watts of power. To pass the Technician Class examination, at least 26 questions from a 35 question written examination must be answered correctly. Technician Class licensees also have privileges in four amateur service bands in the HF range (3-30 MHz).
The General Class operator license authorizes privileges in all Technician Class bands and more, for a total of 27 amateur service bands. To pass the General Class examination, at least 26 questions from a 35 question written examination must be answered correctly. Upon accreditation by a Volunteer-Examiner Coordinator (VEC), a General Class operator may help administer Technician Class tests.
The privileges of an Amateur Extra Class operator license include all privileges that a General Class operator has as well as additional spectrum in the HF bands. To pass the Amateur Extra Class examination, at least 37 questions on a 50 question written examination must be answered correctly. Upon accreditation by a Volunteer-Examiner Coordinator (VEC), an Amateur Extra Class operator may help administer Technician, General, and Amateur Extra Class tests.

What's new on Radio Wiki
March 2013 All of the Technician questions are now in! Work proceeds on creating basic grammar pages for new terms which may be unfamiliar to radio newcomers, and making sure that every question has some sort of exposition. Sometime soon the General questions will start going in (and I suppose the Amateur Extra after that).
